Welcome to the Godfrey Fire Protection District Website. We hope that you find the site informative and enjoyable. GFPD is an ISO rated 4/9 combination department employing 16 full time and 16 paid on call staff. The district proudly protects 36 square miles and 17,000 people. We operate out of two stations and have a variety of apparatus to provide first class fire protection and emergency medical services. GFPD receives new fire extinguisher trainer |
|
The Godfrey Fire Protection District received a new Laser Driven Fire Extinguisher Training System today. The equipment was purchased with funds from a FEMA Fire Prevention and Safety Grant the District was awarded earlier in the year. It will be used to train several "at risk" groups in the community.
